Sandy Creek Bridge

One of three historic Howe Truss bridges in Missouri.
Located on Goldman Road, just north of Hillsboro.
The bridge is 18 feet 10 inches wide and 74 feet 6 inches long. The entrance height is 13 feet.
Sandy Creek Bridge is nestled among the trees in the park.
Sandy Creek Bridge was build in 1872 by John Hathaway Morse and was named for the creek it spans.
The bridge was destroyed by high water in 1886. The county court ordered it rebuild in August of the same year.
