The City is aware of the issues with customers randomly not receiving their water/sewer bills in the mail. Bills are hand-delivered to the post office’s inside counter two days before the end of every month. Bills are due the 15th of the month to avoid late fees.
There are several options we have for our customers: customers can pay online at hillsboromo.org, customers can pay with ACH (form online at City Hall), customers can sign up for email bill notification. Paper bills will, continue to go out to everyone who signs up for email bills.
Email bills ensure customers get a bill even if the paper copy never gets delivered.
